From The North:
Exit M6 junctionn 42 onto A6 for Penrith. At the village of Plumpton turn left onto B6413 - after 2 miles turn right for Gt Salkeld - after 400m The Keld is on the left down a concrete lane.

From the South:
Exit M6 junction 41, follow signs for A6, next roundabout take A6 for Carlisle, at the village of Plumpton turn right onto B6413 after 2 miles turn right for Gt Salkeld, proceed 400m. The keld is on the left down a concrete lane.
